Our goal

Our aim is to help more people who are broken and lost hope to find a new path and start a new life with the support we offer. At the Salvation Army in Hungary, we provide quality care that goes far beyond meeting physical needs.

What we provide

We provide a clean, beautiful and dignified environment for a fresh start, offering spiritual support and counselling to those who come to us. In its work in Hungary over the past 90 years, the Salvation Army has given countless people the chance to start a new life or settle their old one.

What we believe

We believe that homelessness is a temporary condition that can be reversed or changed. We believe that change begins within people's souls and that only when it is based on a firm, internal decision can they truly begin and persevere through the difficult struggles that lie ahead of them on the path of change.

What we are proud of

We are proud that some of our former beneficiaries are now able to live a full life, independently take care of their daily needs, and many have started families or settled down with their families. Today we have several donors who once were in need of our help.
