Let's pray together for awakening, unity, and renewal between February 09 and 11. Hope, justice, reconciliation, healing.
Prayer for Awakening Our world suffers, in need of hope, justice, reconciliation, and healing. It needs God. It needs Christians who are living in faith, who are aflame, who have been filled and prepared by the Holy Spirit. The world around us needs The Salvation Army, both in mindset and in action. Renewal is needed!
This revival begins with prayer
Prayer is at the center of awakening. Drawing close to God, seeking His heart, listening to the Holy Spirit.

Let's pray for the coming of His Kingdom. Matthew 6:10-11 "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."

Humbly pray. 2 Chronicles 7:14-16 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." James 4:7 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Pray with tears. Nehemiah 1:4 "When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven."
This revival begins with unity. Christians from different backgrounds come together to pray.
- Meet with other Christians, pray for unity, and serve the Lord together. 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
Revival begins with deeper love for God and neighbor.
Pray for more love for the poor, the rejected, the abandoned. Jeremiah 29:7 "Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it because if it prospers, you too will prosper." Isaiah 58:6-8 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard."
Additional Prayer Requests: Pray for spiritual awakening in The Salvation Army! Pray for new revelations, for what God wants to do among us. Pray for God to lead people into our path with whom we can pray and work for awakening. Pray for courage to carry out prophetic actions in this world. Pray for greater spiritual sensitivity. Let's pray for more spiritual gifts in The Salvation Army, and to use them wisely and lovingly.
