Easter devotion 2024

Easter devotion 2024

The Bible teaches us that Easter celebrates the exit of the people of Israel, who were miraculously delivered from Egypt.

In this sense, Easter was an outstanding event. It represents the passage from slavery to freedom.

And Today, we celebrate an outstanding person: Jesus Christ !

On the cross, Jesus was judged so that we could be forgiven.
At the cross, he bore our sicknesses so that we could be healed.
At the cross, he died in our place, bearing our sin, which kept us from God.
But he rose again, and if we accept him in our heart, we have eternal life.
Easter is Christ and our reason for hope. Every morning we have a reason to hope.

Lamentations 3:22-24:
"The great love of our Lord and His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him".

I don't know what tomorrow will be like, but I do know that Jesus is in my tomorrow.
Let's look for what gives us hope. Let's become hope seekers: Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. he is our reason to hope! Let's not forget this, because if we don't, this truth will gradually die within us.
But if we keep it in mind and remember it every day, it will always remain alive within us.
My only certainty and hope is in Jesus Christ, despite the circumstances.

  • Dear friends. Does Christ's Resurrection bring real change to your life?
  • Does it bring you joy and new purpose to your life ?

I'd like to declare the following, based on the lyrics of the song "I SET MY HOPE ON JESUS !"

When this life of trials tests my faith, When the questions come and doubts remain, I SET MY HOPE ON JESUS !
For the deepest wounds that time won’t heal, There’s a joy that runs still deeper WHEN I SET MY HOPE ON JESUS !
He is my rock, my only trust, He is the one who set His heart upon me first, I SET MY HOPE ON JESUS !

If, over the past years, you feel you've lost sight of the hope that is in Jesus, I suggest you pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus,
I ask your forgiveness for any sins I may have committed. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you because you died on the cross for me.
Your blood flowed for me. I acknowledge, Lord, that you took all the suffering, all the sickness and all the curses on the cross.
Everything has been accomplished. Come fill my heart, Come fill my life. Come and saturate me with your peace, your presence and your love.

There's hope because He's risen! He is truly risen! AMEN
